About PM Vishwakarma Yojana

Launched in 2023, this scheme aims to empower traditional artisans and craftspeople, known as Vishwakarmas, across India.

Purpose:

Provide recognition through a PM Vishwakarma certificate and ID.

Offer skill training, toolkit incentives, credit support, and digital empowerment.

Eligibility:

Indian citizens engaged in traditional family-based crafts or trades like carpentry, blacksmithing, goldsmithing, tailoring, etc.

Should not have availed similar benefits under other government credit schemes.

Age 18 years and above.
