About Credit Gurantee Scheme

A scheme by the Government of India and SIDBI to provide credit guarantee for loans extended to MSMEs, eliminating the need for collateral.

Purpose:

Facilitate collateral-free credit to micro and small enterprises.

Encourage banks and financial institutions to lend to MSMEs.

Eligibility:

New and existing micro and small enterprises.

Credit facilities up to ₹5 Crore are eligible under the guarantee cover.

Loans must be extended by eligible member lending institutions (MLIs).
