About Credit Gurantee Scheme

Launched in 2016, this scheme aims to promote entrepreneurship among women and SC/ST communities by facilitating bank loans.

Purpose:

Support SC/ST and women entrepreneurs in setting up greenfield enterprises.

Encourage job creation and inclusive growth.

Eligibility:

SC/ST or Women entrepreneurs above 18 years.

For starting a new (greenfield) project in manufacturing, trading, or services.

Loan amount: ₹10 Lakhs to ₹1 Crore.

The borrower should not be in default with any bank/financial institution.
